More pictures of the house coming soon. I am still unpacking boxes, but my back has me resting a lot.
We went to Lowe's yesterday & I, of course, went to the chalkboard paint. I CAN NOT PAINT UNTIL IT IS 50 degrees OUT!!! I can not wait for that. Come on spring! I don't think I ever wanted a spring to come as badly as I do now. I will post a pic of of the doors that will be painted. I want to do the chalkboard like last time, but I want to do a white border around it, which will also be with chalkboard paint. I have been searching the internet for the instructions on how to make it. I am not making the black for the middle part because I have that, but the white I will need to make. I may take the wall color & do another border, too. So, here it is (from paint shop pro). I could not get the color of the "border" to match the wall. Not sure. Thoughts? I am really excited about this project. I will have our chore list on this door while the other door will have our weekly schedule on it.
I am also going to work on the Family Rules that will be done on wood & hang up. I am not sure where this will go yet, but I will find a spot. I also want to do a Bathroom Rules one, too.
I am sure I will add to this project list.
P.S. I am going to use Mason Jars to store items in!
Like crayons, markers, pencils, etc.
But, do I store these mason jars in? I have no room anywhere else.
Did I say I can not wait to use the craft room?
