Plan

I have decided on a plan on this unpacking!!  I had 2 or 3 friends tell me that I can not unpack everything.  I have to come up with a plan.  My back has gotten worse since last January's fall.  Lucky me!  I am going to take my friends' advice & not to unpack everything!

Here is my plan:
1. Finish Ashleigh's room.
I have a plan for her room.  Well, not the entire plan to do right now, but a small plan.  I have to wait to do the one part of my plan until later.  If you know me, then you can guess what I want to do!!  I have the boys' rooms done because they did not have a futon in the way of getting a bed put together & everything else into its place.  The futon is my sister in law, who could not move it until a certain date.  That was fine with us.  It was not like we could do all 3 kids' rooms all at once anyway.  The boys' room I was going between the 2.  I had things for Noah in Ethan's boxes & vice versa.

2. Finish the Living Room.
The other day I reorganized the entertainment center.  I added some dvd's, too.  I just need to work on the built in bookcase.  Not sure what I will do there.

I would love to do this on the wall above the tv:

Isn't it beautiful? I can draw.  I did a mural for Ashleigh before.  I plan to do one for Noah, but on a much smaller scale.

3. Finish the Craft Room/Laundry Room/Basement

I am really excited to finish this!!  I can not wait to use this space.  I want to use chalkboard paint on the table in this space, too, but have to wait until it is 50 degrees.  Grrr.  I am not sure where to put everything.  I am sure I will figure it all out.  I am putting all the holiday crafts with the holiday items in the holiday decorations.  I plan to use Mason Jars for crayons, etc.

4. Pictures

Organize what picture goes where & have Shawn put them up!!

5. Unpack the bathroom boxes, any clothes boxes, towel boxes.

For the bathroom, I think there is only 2 boxes left plus 2 boxes of towels.  Only 1 box of clothes left.
Not bad.

6. Work on some projects!

I am going to finish the kids' first letter of their name for their new rooms!  I may even add the rest of their letters in their name.  I can not wait to see how these turn out.  I already did our "G".

                                               7.  The rest can wait!

I still have to go through all of the boxes in the basement in this small room to see what is in there.  I know I want living room boxes.

Here is a future project if I can talk Shawn into building.  Well, something like this:  (I only have so much space available)

Or more like this one, but not blue.  I want it white. I don't want those small cubicle things.  I love those baskets to store hats, gloves, etc, during the winter months!!  I will get him to make this one.  hehe....

Another future project is painting Ashleigh's dresser to match her bed!!

I still need to take pics.  I know.  I will.  Noah has to study for an unit test for spelling.  He has only had 1 week of these spelling words since he got to this new school.  There is 5 weeks.  Each week his teacher picked out 10 words, so he has 50 words to know by Friday, but will only get tested on 25.  We have no idea which 25.
