I can not wait until I NEVER see another box again. A friend of my, Sandy, came over to help me unpack. Her son, Charlie, came, too. Charlie & Ethan are good friends. Charlie is 3 & Ethan is almost 3. They played while we unpacked. Shawn kept an eye on the boys. We worked on the kitchen. Remember we moved into my mother in law's house. She is in South Carolina right now. (Lucky!! We are dealing with FREEZING COLD!!) She left some items. More than some.
We have boxes in 3 areas (dining room, & basement in 2 different areas). We went through those areas, pulled out kitchen boxes, took them upside to the kitchen. Then, we realized that we should had gone through them in the basement because most of what we unpacked had to be taken back to the basement. We also had a box for items I did not want. Sandy went home with a dry erase board that I can not use. I wanted to use it, but it is too big for the location I needed to put it. I will add a dry erase board or 2, plus a cork board, too.
In the basement, I have our dining room table set up there (we have another one in the dining room). This is the craft area, but also where I will fold laundry. The washer & dryer is close by. There is an area for the kids to watch tv in their own area. To the left of this area is the bar.
We had to bring down boxes for the bar, for the craft area, plus holiday. The holiday items will be packed in this big walk in closet down in the basement. I now have all of these boxes to go through & put away.
I still have a few boxes to put away in the boys' rooms. I need to do a lot with Ashleigh's room. Like her clothes! Our room we still have clothes to put away. The dining room we can eat at the table, but it has a few boxes & not as many as it did. In the living room, I need to find a couple boxes. Chargers for the kids game systems. I like to monitor what they play, keep an eye on the games to make sure they don't lose them, & I need to find a few things for Ethan in the living room. I have the entire basement craft area to organize.
I need to paint my chalkboards on the doors in the dining room. I can not wait until I can do this. The one door will be for jobs for us, then the kids can draw on it. The other one will be for our weekly schedule. This will have to wait for awhile.
Today I kept trying to find a few items. My sticky things for the back of the dry erase boards. I brought some the other night, but I could not find them. Tonight I went to Target with Noah to get some paper for him to do homework (easier to buy it than to look through boxes when I did that today & did not see any). I brought 2 packages of those & told Shawn where the one is just in case I lose them once again. I was also looking for the cleaner for the dry erase boards so I could clean them. It took me awhile to remember where that box is, but I found it!! I was also looking for this, but ours the drawer is the entire thing. Ours is black. I can not find this.

Like I said, I can not wait until I NEVER see another box again. I am no where being done either. I did find the 39 clues book! Tomorrow is Reading Night. Movie Night is Friday (Mr Popper's Penguins!). I have been hurting a lot. More than a lot. I came to bed before 7:30p to rest. Not like me. I am still hurting.
