Day 24: a Great Mechanic

Today I am sitting in a new auto center waiting to get my inspection done. It's also brakes and rotors. When Ashleigh was little, the mechanic I used was next door. I would pack Ashleigh in her stroller with blankets if it was cold then we would walk to a friend's house to wait.  I did the same when Noah was little, too. 

Harry fixed my car then the van so many times over the year. It's sad that he hasn't been  here working like he used to.  He passed away from cancer. 

I am sitting here in the waiting area so this time I get the van done. He had the van the last day of September and I said to get everything done before end of business. I think my mind is still set to what Harry would have done. I know I need to give this new mechanic a chance. 

I was blessed many years with a great mechanic. Maybe I will again.
