Day 27: Libraries

I am really late today.  Ashleigh had an appointment this morning with pain management.  It has been a few years since she saw them there.  We had to see a team of people.  Ashleigh was put onto a low dose pain medication for when she needs to take something.  I take pain medications, but I go through periods where I won't take them since my body gets used to them.

Libraries?  Do you go to your local library?  Do you take your kids to the library?  I love our library especially the Children's Department.  It has 3-D painting/photos up on the wall like fish, octopus, etc.  Ethan loves to go to the library.  He always has a smile on his face.  Ethan and I love to rent movies from our local library.  So much cheaper to rent movies from the library.  Ours is $1.  We get it for 3 days.

Last year I took Ethan to the library a lot more than I have this school year.  It is because last year Ethan was in preschool and this year he is in all day Kindergarten.  I need to get him to the library.  Maybe this Saturday when Ashleigh is at Camp.

If we drive passed the library, Ethan wants to stop.  I am worried that libraries won't be around when my kids have kids since today we have ipads, Nooks, and other tablets to read on.  Do you read books?  Do you have an ipad, etc to read on?  I do both, but mainly I read on my ipad through the Kindle app or the Overdrive app when I get ebooks from our local libraries.
