Day 31: Happy Halloween!!

When you think of Autumn what do you think of?  Apples, Apple Cider, Hot Cocoa, Hay rides, pumpkins, and chilly weather, carving pumpkins and of course trick or treating. Watching Casper with the kids. 

Did you take your kids trick or treating?  I took the boys this past Saturday to where my husband used to work, but Noah did not want to go.  Tonight I took the boys' out trick or treating in our neighborhood for the first time since we moved in.  We did our street, and 3 above our street, but the last street we did not have enough time to finish.  Of course, it was raining.  It rained the last 2 years, too.  

We took Zeus with us and everyone had a lot of "beautiful dog" comment.  Zeus is laying on my bed and I know he shouldn't be since he is wet from being outside in the rain with us.  He loved getting the attention from the kids.  

We saw 4 homes that you help yourself.  I think we saw 5 different dogs, who Zeus wanted to lick or eat depending on the dogs' size.  The best part of our night is the firefighter that was dressed in his gear handing out candy.  He is in the same fire department as Shawn. 

Ashleigh stayed home since she has casts on her feet.  We have 4 more weeks to go!!  So, until at least Thanksgiving week.

I made it all 31 days!!  I am so happy you joined me and I hope you stay.  I am hoping I can do at least 3 posts a week.  Sometimes things gets overwhelmed here and I can not get the words out.  I hope with this 31 days of writing has helped me overcome that.
