When is your birthday? How do you celebrate it?
My birthday is today, October 29. I thinks it's one of the reasons I love autumn so much. What's your favorite season and does your birthday fall within that season?
Are you thinking what I will be doing on my birthday today? I will be getting Noah early from school so I can take him to an appointment. This appointment is important and I decided that I have to take him. After we are done, then home we go. Ashleigh needs help to get down our outside stairs (post coming soon about our home and Ashleigh). While I help Ashleigh, I am going to send Noah up to their bus stop to get Ethan. I can picture Ethan running down the hill to get him, but he stops at the house across the street, waiting to get the okay to cross. We will have dinner that I planned. It is either chicken or pork. Pork according to my boys is called Jeffry!! Then, we may make gluten free cupcakes or maybe gluten free brownies.
In my family, we are done with the kids' birthdays. Each year we start with Ethan in January, then Noah in April, then Ashleigh in June. I am in October while Shawn is in December.
Ethan's birthdays have been basically Batman themed with a few that we talked him into like Firemen (his 5th) and Dogs (4th). He had Mickey Mouse, which I think was 1st birthday. This coming year for Noah will be his class birthday party at a location of Noah's choose. We were going to have it last year, but we decided to wait a year. Noah's birthday we celebrated at his favorite soccer team for our area. I will have write up a post on this. For Ashleigh, we had her 13th birthday party at her favorite place. If you know Ashleigh, you know it has something to do with horses. We had a great turn out and the kids loved horseback riding (not sure if I did a post or not on her birthday party).
What did you do for your birthday?
Melissa
P.S. Since writing this post, our plans changed. I have another appointment that wasn't to be today, but now is. So, we are off to this as soon as Ashleigh and Ethan get home from school.
