It is late for me today to get this done. I thought all day what I was going to write about and nothing was coming to my mind until about an hour ago.
On Thursday, I took Ashleigh to our Children's PT department where they did serial casting for Ash. I found some information from a Children's Hospital. Click HERE.

What is serial casting? Serial casting is where they cast your feet for so many weeks, but each week they cast it at a different angle. This time is was at -10 for the angle. I am not sure how many weeks yet this will be. The idea behind this is that Ashleigh's left foot gets stronger. They cast both feet so she can be even. I have a paper of what I am to look for like redness, etc.
Why an hour ago you are thinking? Because I had to figure out how to wash Ashleigh's hair and to do a sponge bath. I wanted to do her hair in the kitchen sink, but Shawn said it would be easier in the bathroom. My back was killing me from the bending over the tub to wash her hair. We did the sponge bath in the bathroom's sink, which was not so bad. Next hair washing will be in the kitchen sink!!
We know this is how life will be until at least Thanksgiving week. Ashleigh has forearm crutches to help her with her balance. This week was orange. What will Ashleigh pick next week?
Pray that this helps Ashleigh.
Melissa
