It is so quiet here. All 3 kids are in school. It's going to take some time to get used to the house being so quiet. Shawn just left for work. He has an hour or so to commute now with his new job, which he started in July. He loves his new job- a great company and a great manager that he has on his shift!! His manager cares about his shift and he sticks up for them.
What should I do? Laundry? Clean? Rest? Facebook?
Today I decided to do Day 6 of my 31 days. I am not used to the house being so quiet. We have not had all of the kids being in school since Noah was in preschool. He went from 9-2p 5 days a week. We ended up pregnant after Noah's first year of preschool. Also today I have no appointments. I try not to schedule any on Mondays so I can easy myself into the new week. Plus I like to do laundry on Mondays, too. At least finish it up on Mondays.
The other day I was all alone in the house with the 2 dogs. Instead of resting or doing laundry, I went to our basement and started to price every item I have for the Flea Market at our boys' school. I did 12 boxes, but only did 10 of them when the kids were in school. When Ashleigh was at her Autism program, I did 2 more. The Flea Market was yesterday. I did pretty good. End total I made was $33.75, but for the 2 tables I paid for was $20. But, I got rid of a lot of boxes of stuff. The boys' school is calling goodwill to come pick it up!! So, I think I did great! Total of 14 boxes are gone. Whoo Hoo!!
