Day 25: Ashleigh's Art class

Welcome to Day 25!!

Ashleigh takes an art class at her school.  Yes, Ashleigh has an IEP.  We want her to take any classes she wants to take especially any art classes.  This term she is taking Sculpture.  She had to mask her face for the masks they are making.  Ashleigh can not do this.  She does not like the texture of the mold material.  She does not like the smell of it.  Her main teacher wrote me a note saying that she won't do it.  I explained it is the texture and the smell stopping Ashleigh, don't make her.  Then, I talked to Ashleigh.  I asked if it is the texture and the smell.  She said yes.  I told her that is what I wrote to her teacher.  She looked happy I knew her so well.
