Day 31: Happy Halloween

Welcome to Day 31!!

Last day of the #write31days.  I honestly did not think I was going to make it this year.  I did fall behind a couple times, but I did catch up.  

Happy Halloween!!  I hope today was a safe happy Halloween for everyone.  

Ashleigh did not go trick or treating.  I did not think she would.  We go 5 streets up and work our way home.  Ethan and I left about 30 minutes before it started so we could be up on top of the hill.  It worked out great.  The first street we were on gave Ethan candy before it even started then we came down one street and ran into Mary and Noah.  They joined us.  

We had this scary  scary creature with a candy plate.  When you took the candy off (it had to be 2 pieces to active it), it went off.  It scared Mary, Noah, and Ethan.  Ok, me, too.  Then, there was this guy dressed in I think a zombie mask with crutches using his hands to say "Come here if you dare!!"  Mary would not go up unless I did.  Then, there was the grim reaper dressed between 2 vehicles in the dark.  He just stood there staring at you.  Mary said "Stay there!"  He did.

I only saw 1 teal pumpkin tonight.  Did you see any?  I thanked the man for having a teal pumpkin.  Ethan got a pirate patch.
