Day 27: Nosy Neighbors

Welcome to Day 27!!

The kids came home from school, homework was done, and the boys went outside like a normal warm fall day.  Shawn was home with the boys while I ran out to do an errand.  I got home not long after I left at 5:15p.  I was not home long when I heard Noah say "Mom, there is a cop here to speak with you."  I called up to Shawn, who was on the desktop and told him to get done here because a cop was here to speak with us.

When I came home, I came down our alley way.  I talked with my 2 boys and Noah's friend.  Not even 10 minutes later the Police Officer shows up at our doorstop.

Why?  Because a couple complaints on the boys throwing rocks in front of this house.  The boys say they were not in front of this house and we believe them.   It is 2 doors down from us.  We are the first house on our street.  The boys were throwing rocks in the alley way, but there is no rocks in front of this house and no sidewalk.  

We have learned that some neighbors are too damn nosy.   Come to us and talk to us about our boys.  I am lucky that Ashleigh was not outside with them.  This could have scared her.  The boys are fine.  I finally have the boys playing outside again and this happens.
