Day 4: Forgetting Things

Welcome to Day 4.  I am a bit late today.  I thought I posted today's post by scheduling it, but I actually never wrote it.  Opps!!

Today I am going to be talking writing about forgetting to do things.  For me, it is hard to keep track what each of my kids need at school especially Ethan.  He goes to a private school where I get a packet once a month (at the end).  This packet is 20+ papers that I have to go through and fill out.  September's packet had a fundraiser, picture day information (October 2), Bridge's Day (where we go to observe our child in his class), the calendar, the lunch menu, a letter from the principal, the Walk a thon, the information for the Turkey Dinner (volunteers are needed to work).  I know there was more than just the items I mentioned.  With Ethan having Gluten Intolerance, I forgot that I needed to make him a cupcake to take with him to a birthday party he was invited to today.  His first one since he was diagnosed in November, 2014.  I am prepared to make his treats for his class' Halloween Party (It will be made on my birthday and of course, I will make me my cake cupcakes!).  I am doing brownies, cupcakes, and bat sugar cookies.  I am only making this for Ethan and me.  Ethan's fundraiser is due this Friday.  Another one is due October 30.

With the older 2's picture days, I was only given 2 dates.  Like with Noah, it was either October 6 or 7th.  With Ashleigh, it was either October 8 or 9.  I had to email their teachers to find out the dates.  Noah's the 7th and Ashleigh's the 9th.  I already did the envelopes when I did Ethan's and this time I did it online.

I know tomorrow I have phone calls to make about Ashleigh- A new doctor that her rehab doctor wants her to see (post coming soon), a organization that can help with the ramp (I hope), and of course the Transportation department.  I am actually thinking of going there instead.

Tuesday morning I am meeting Noah's teacher and his principal so we can get a 504 in place.  He is doing a lot better than his old school, but he is having some issues in math and science.  More in math than science.  He is doing wonderfully in reading.  I am seeing the old Noah.  The one that loves to read and play soccer.

Each one of the kids has a corkboard in my room above my desk.  I have one, too.  Ethan is taking over my since he has been drawing a lot.  His artwork is great.  I need to get that into a post.

I know I am forgetting some more things.
Melissa
